Florence attended James Madison University, a Hidden Gem in the alluring Shenandoah mountains. Her studies include B.A. in Justice Studies & Theatre. In addition, she earned a minor in Political Science.

Florence has been fortunate to perform and focus on the trifecta: theatre for social change, theatre for young audiences and physical theatre. She is interested in combining those skill sets to continue to create art that can influence BIPOC communities & intersect with NGOs and politics.

In her free time, Florence can be found playing stringed instruments, teaching American Sign Language, dancing joyously or free-writing. She also enjoys working as a scenic artist, modeling in a variety of artistic projects, and reading a good dystopian novel.
